No lift available for seniors, no food available on orders. Breakfast has to include choice of food.

The place was hopeless. First of all there is no parking space and when asked they asked to keep it in the road side. Room was so congested with no basic facilities. Toiletries were not provided and washroom was pathetic

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was good. The location is definitely a plus — easily accessible and conveniently situated. The room was quite spacious and comfortable for the stay.However, there were a few downsides. The hotel lacks a lift facility, which can be inconvenient, especially for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. While the bathroom was functional, it could have been maintained better — there was a noticeable smell that affected the overall comfort.On the brighter side, the staff were courteous and helpful throughout the stay. A special mention to the manager, whose polite and professional behaviour truly stood out.Despite a few areas that need improvement, it was a decent experience overall. With a few upgrades in cleanliness and facilities, this hotel could offer even better value for money.

Lovely place to stay with friends and family. In a walkable distance ,beach. Temple ,shopping and everything.. had a lovely time there.. spacious room ..safety for girls who travel alone or with friends.

Room service was not good. They provided one water bottle only between 3 persons. Smells badly in entrance. No lift. There is no intercom system between room and reception so every time you have to go to reception for every thing

Red Lotus was a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and clean (especially by Indian standards), making for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, which was a huge plus. The location is excellent—right in the center of the city and just a short walk from major attractions. What truly stood out, though, was the reception staff. They were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with train ticket issues. Their attentiveness made a real difference. The room was also well-equipped with both a fan and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay even in the heat. I’d definitely recommend this place for a few days.

The only downside was the bathroom. While the toilet was fine, the showerhead was rusty, and the water didn’t seem very clean.

Rooms over looking main road, not acoustic sealed, so traffic noise is there, good value if you get it on special for under rs2k, heart of heritage town great location both for shopping and walking to white town. Bathroom had black mould. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is one of the best I have been in in Pondicherry, very clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, kind staff, nothing is wrong with the hotel itself.

One big deal braker issue for me is the vicinity of way too many cellphone towers, for those sensitive to EMF is a dissaster, the emf pollution is of the charts, couldnt sleep at all, tired all day. Second thing I did not like is they asked me to pay full amount before coming to the property treathening me they will cancel the booking if I dont pay, which is in violation of the agreement

Not vey far from beach

Since the property is in the middle of a market area, it’s very noisy and not recommended for a peaceful stay. The commode flush was leaky.

Rooms were good

The fact that there is no lift facility has not at all been clearly mentioned and highlighted. Room rates are high but we got the same breakfast everyday for 3 days

Location is very good near to all attraction

No restaurant is very big issue.just for tea we need to go out side.Stairs case or small stpes to go second floor

It is located in the market Area! One can go for a lot of shopping! Rooms are spacious and neatly maintained. Breakfast was very nice and it is served in a roof top setting :)

Only issue was fining a Car parking but somehow it was managed as after 9 PM you get several parking spots right in front of hotel.

The property is in main area so everything is walkable from the property, rooms are big with very nicely functioning AC, staff were friendly

They provide very basic breakfast option, upon asking for an extra egg( which is 6rupees) you will be straight denied on your face,Before booking just confirm with the property if they can remove breakfast option from your package and reduce the cost, by that way you will have better option to eat in breakfast

The location of the hotel was fine. The staff member was polite. There was wifi in every room which was a plus point.

We didnt have the breakfast, so cant comment on it. was not happy with the approach area of the hotel. The hotel reception was a small corner room on the 1st floor and the stairway was very narrow. We stayed for 4 nights in a room on the 2nd floor, but there was no room cleaning service. Also saw a lot of lizards in the narrow staircase. Throughout the stay, saw only 1 person at the reception, so I'm assuming there was no other staff.

Very spacious rooms, professional and helpful staff. Well maintained rooms. Excellent wifi. Amazing breakfast. Prime location - everything was within walking distance.
